*Disclaimer. For the Christian worried by the Evolutionary word in the headline. This is not a rejection of scriptures creation story. For the Non-Christian. This is not the rejection of science based on scripture. Read to find out why.

I am not one for apologetics. Which means I am not someone usually prone to appealing to logic or reason as a way to show people the truth of my faith. As a Christian I am a Calvinist. Calvinism is summed up in these tenets, an acronym called T.U.L.I.P. I’m not gonna cover all of them but I will summarize. As a Calvinist I believe that mankind is totally depraved, in a position of sin since birth that puts us at odd’s with God in a state of open rebellion against His Kingship. I believe as scripture says, only those whom the LORD calls will be saved. Only the Holy Spirit can GIVE someone the faith it takes to believe in the good news of Jesus Christ. I don’t believe logic itself or argument can convince someone to a saving faith on its own but it must be by a work of the Holy Spirit which activates that faith. So salvation, faith in Jesus Christ is not done in the mind and is not the summation of calculation and reason but instead a miracle of God’s electing choice by the work of the Holy Spirit. Faith starts with the Holy Spirit and is impossible without the Holy Spirit’s work. Sometimes logic is exactly how God breaks the barrier of objection so that blind eyes might see. All that said, now I will appeal to logic on a few topics.

I remember watching a Christian show on TBN in my past and the host pointed out something I think is not pointed out enough. He suggested and I don’t remember the exact verbiage but the idea is this. If human beings were anything, they should be considered a religious species. Religion, spirituality, belief in a divine figure is so core to who we are as a species that it cannot be separated although in modern times many who believe themselves logical and wise have attempted to do just that by calling themselves Atheist. A complete rejection of religious or spiritual belief’s. Most the time, the atheist put’s their faith in science, in what they can see and touch and measure.

Ask yourself this, in all your studying of humanity, of our communities and people groups have you ever heard of an atheist tribe? I don’t mean literally the modern term atheist or belief in a god but have you ever heard of an uncontacted people group who had no religion, no spiritual expression and belief system? The truth is this, there are no atheist tribes. Now, that is not solely because as you would think when we modernized and as science grew and our understanding of the universe grew that people moved past such things. As you see, look at our technology and how far we have come since the industrial revolution now developing mind bending AI systems and still most people are religious to some degree. It is true in western society science has grown to be itself a rival religious system of foundational personal belief.

On the topic of trusting in science compared to religion. If anyone put’s their faith in science as an alternative I invite you to read the science headlines. You go to classes on science and they tell you one thing, then days months years later you see in headlines “science is being rewritten”, “our understanding on the human species has changed ” etc… When we recently built and sent into space the best telescope humanity has ever designed the new James Webb Space Telescope we did not confirm our understanding of the big bang or understanding of the universe instead it got flipped on its head. Theories are just that, they arent fact however logically they may appear. Charles Darwin’s origin of species seems logical, we know selective breading and environment does change species and everything alive never stays the same for long. We see this every cold and flu season, we saw that with Covid, mutations occur. Fact. But what they don’t tell you is there are missing links. There was no Lucy. There is absolutely not even partially complete specimen of a an ancestor that links primates to humans. Seriously, look it up. It’s all BS. They made that concept for “Lucy” the primate humanoid out of one single tooth. In fact it is now several hundred bone fragments from different specimen’s that were put together to create this 40% of the “Lucy” figure.

So let’s use logic. Where are the missing links? Tell me why we have this specimen of a Dinosaur but Lucy was put together with bone fragment’s from 40 different creatures and still only complete 40% of a complete specimen.

So your telling me all we have of humanoid primate links is bone fragment’s and individual teeth, but we have this Dinosaur fossil from 110 million years ago looking like it just laid down for a nap. We have complete Dinosaur fossil exhibits and not one pre human missing link.

If I concede this fossil is of a creature from 110 million years ago, (which I do believe) than how can the bible be true? Isnt carbon dating the arch enemy of the biblical timeline of creation? Do I believe Dinosaurs were on the Arc of Noah? No I don’t. The real truth is what I believe explains this discrepancy. I will summarize and invite you to do more research. The answer lays in Quantum Physics, more specifically the double slit experiment.

The double slit experiment is a over 100 year old experiment that has been bending the minds of scientist including that of Albert Einstein who he himself could not wrestle with and defeat. It is summarized in this. When a human observer or a human made observation method is observing matter, it acts as a particle, or in essence matter acts the way it should, as matter. Physical, reality. When a human being is not observing, matter itself acts instead as a wave. More specifically a way of possibility. I know your first instinct will be dismissal, that is why invite you to do your own research. Here is an example of the experiment. The effect it observes is called the observer effect.

The concept is this, imagine a pebble, you shoot one at a time through an object that has two slits. What you should see is two lines on the backdrop object, and you do if you observe which slit the pebble passes through. But, if no human being or it’s instruments observe which slit the pebble goes through, it creates an interference pattern instead. The possibilities of which slit the pebble goes through creates an interference pattern we see in waves of water for example, the waves bounce off each other. The result is on the backdrop you see a strong line in between the slits and outward lines decreasing in strength. What I believe this proves is that human beings specifically, are tied to the reality of this universe to a degree if a tree falls in the forest and no human being observes it, when a human being observes it we see a tree was knocked over. However, the matter itself of the tree existed only as possibility until that point. Once we do observe it, the matter was always matter back to the start of all time, back to oblivion itself, back to the “big bang”. I know, impossible right? Except it’s true and proven by scientist.

I say all that to say this, I don’t want anyone to go down a path of new age spiritualty which the double slit experiment often leads to. New age is a demonic movement that takes this very real science as a mean’s to lead people away from salvation in Christ. Because the conclusion many come to is, the universe is actually made of consciousness itself. That’s not my conclusion, that is a demonic twisting of the truth. The real truth is so hard to accept I don’t know of another human being myself who accepts or adheres to my theory on creation but it is the only one which bridges the impossible gap of science and Christianity using quantum physics. The path that led me down the double slit experiment rabbit hole cost me time with Jesus for that I regret. But I suggest this in cases of science led atheism. For more in depth on the topic, look at the book “God’s Is Not Dead” by Amit Goswami. If you are a Christian, please do not read this book. This is an attempt at the most stubborn of science led disbelief as a shock method to make them understand, the world is more complicated than they previously thought and in fact science does back a divine consciousness, as I would call it a divine spirit that only human beings possess. The book is not Christian, but a Christian it might make.

What the follow on advancement of the double slit experiment proves is that when we observe matter and collapse the wave function, it does not only collapse the wave function for that moment but for all time backwards. This was proven in follow on experiments. What this means and how it ties to Christian creationism is this. Most people view time is a line moving forward like an arrow from some starting point. For science they believe currently that the universe is around 14.6 billion years old and for Christians, 6,000 years. The double slit experiment proves that both timelines can be true at the same time. God creates man, gives them His Creative spirit by which He authored the universe. Adam open’s his eyes and that which was nothing jumps out to fill the void, possibility extending to pure nothingness fills in the gap to the point where Adam is observing it. As man spreads, and discovers and digs, what we are encountering is not something that was of itself matter but is made real by our observing it because our “consciousness” is actually God’s spirit breathed into Adam and passed down to every human being. What we see, we make real going all the way back to when something jumped out of nothing, in essence, the big bang. This divide can be unified by quantum physics. Then why isnt it being done or being believed? Because no one has the stomach or mental flexibility or knowledge to let the gap be divided because unity of belief does not suit the spiritual powers of the demonic that currently reign on Earth.

Christians are safest in scripture, this is true. We get in the weeds when we question our belief systems so I understand why most don’t and really shouldnt venture down this path. However like I said in the beginning, this is an appeal that God might use logic to break the barriers of unbelief. For the purpose of a saving Faith in Jesus Christ. This theory though, bridges the gap of mainstream macro science, Christianity, evolution, the big bang and creationism. It is a tool like chemo therapy for the mind only needed in cases of severe unbelief.

One more thing on this theory of creationism that is supported by quantum physics. If I tell you that everything filled in from nothing once Adam began to observe the universe. Why are their still missing link’s? Shouldn’t my theory suggest the big bang and evolution as a process of the collapse of the wave function of matter? Yes and no. In Quantum Physics there is a thing most know but don’t understand where it comes from, quantum leaps. At the macro level of the universe, the one Einstein helped to solidify through his equations, quantum physics does not follow the rules of the universe as we know them. One of those is quantum leaps. In laymen’s terms, imagine your driving full speed at a brick wall and suddenly as you approach it you end up on the other side of the wall. Without having past through the wall. I believe this is why there are missing links and not a clean line origin of all species on Earth as Darwin theorized. Because the creation process was done at the quantum level through waves of possibility being filled in from nothing, there are leaps.

For example take an eyeball. Such a complex structure could not have been created by evolution if there were not quantum leaps. Or take a sperm. Designed like motorized vehicle, this could not happen slowly over billions or millions of years, sometimes things just have to be because the Creator of the Universe said so. God says I will create man, “Adam be” and a big bang happens, the universe spreads in every direction until chance and quantum leaps fill in the gaps. This is why the universe appears infinite, why the time from the big bang appears so long and vast. I admit, it takes a while for nothing to become a human being, for no matter to become an Earth and a star and galaxies to be born. That is my theory that in my mind, unifies science and the Christian faith. Everything from nothing, because God told it to. Or you can be an atheist and concluding everything came from nothing, 0+0 equals infinity. It honestly takes more faith to believe in a big bang with no author. Even the modern belief’s like the simulation theory at least concludes the authorship of a creator. Which is much more logical than standard scientific atheism.

One last small point on the quantum creation argument. What my theory suggests open’s the door to alien lifeform’s, life outside of Earth. Which as it stands, is not yet observed or proven. However very recently NASA did discover what appeared to have been remnants of micro organisms on Mars. I believe that is exactly what they observed, evidence of life outside of Earth. Given enough time I believe the science will only find more and more evidence of alien lifeforms as we canvas space. If you are a Christian reading this, understand this. It is not contrary to Christian doctrine to believe in non-Earth life form’s. The bible never says there is no life outside of Earth, in fact the wording of it suggest there are beings that come from space or as the bible calls space, the heavens. Evidence of this from scripture:

“When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, ² the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. ³ Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” ⁴ The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.” – Genesis 6:1-4

I suggest, the Nephilim were not fallen angel’s but in fact possibly alien humanoid’s. It’s possible, most Christians just defer to the belief the Nephilim were demon’s aka fallen angel’s and that UFO’s or UAP’s are spiritual entities. All of that is very possible as well. What I offer, is a theory because what we are discovering now is that UAP’s are real, non human life form’s are out there in our oceans and in our sky’s and the Christian should be prepared for such a revelation. I say, it’s better to have a unifying theory but a stubborn faith is also safe as well. Whatever saves the soul and keeps it safe from judgment.

In summation on this topic. Yes I believe alien life is possible if not probable so alien disclosure would not shake my faith at all. Yes I believe carbon dating is accurate and the dinosaurs did “roam the earth” millions of years ago even if at the time they existed only as possibility. I believe the Paleontologist, I believe in science but a complete science which includes the macro physics and quantum physics, Einstein’s world the spooky action at a distance as he called it and also the scripture of the bible. Alien’s probable, dinosaurs real, the big bang, evolution with quantum leaps, a scriptural creation process all tied together however uncomfortable that makes everyone equally. I understand this is controversial but this message is not really for the Christian but for the logical mind of an atheist, logical chemotherapy of the mind backed by scientific testing.

Now that I went on such a long tangent of science. I will conclude where I started. The religious human species. What is more logical, that the universe came from nothing or that an apparently designed world had a designer? What is more logical, that human being’s just happen to be made of something that breaks the wave function of matter in the universe or that the bible is true and the creator of the universe shared His spirit with us? I know logic won’t win you to Christ, but I pray the Holy Spirit does and I hope any of what I wrote here sends you on a path of questioning and looking. Ask yourself, why is it human beings are religious by nature if religion was merely a figment of our imagination? Read the science headlines and laugh. Read the bible and tremble, and love the one who made you a benefactor of such a grand universe. I summarize with one of the wisest men to ever live, the son of King David, Soloman himself. The answer to why human beings are religious.

We are religious because God made us that way. Science and the Christian faith CAN be unified if such a unification was needed to make the quantum leap in our souls to that of faith in Jesus Christ.
